Step 2 - Upload your photos
In this step you will upload your photos to our server, submit captions for your photos if you choose to use them in your slide shows and upload your MP3 file if you want to use your own music.

Before we begin we recommend you place your photo files in a new directory on your hard drive. This way they will all be in one place for easy access and this will prevent you from accidentally over-writing the original files. Click here to find out how.

There are 4 methods which will allow you to upload or send your photo files to us. Your choice will depend on the sizes and types of the files and your level of computer experience.   How do I find the file sizes/types?

Method 1 - Uploader:   If your photo files are 400kb or less in actual file size, Uploader is the best method since you can do multiple uploads and save time.

Method 2 - Single Uploader or Email:  If your photo files are over 400kb or you don't want to work with them, you can use our Single Uploader or you can email them to us as attachments. This method works well if you have limited computer or graphics experience.

Method 3 - Uploader/Resizer:   If your photo files are 400kb to 4 mb, you can use our Uploader/Resizer which uploads and automatically downsizes your photos one at a time. With this method you have the added benefit of being able to save the resized photos which you can then use elsewhere on the web.

Method 4 - Image Editor:   If your photo files are larger than 4mb, or have the .bmp extension, you need to downsize and/or convert them to the .jpg format in the Image Editor.     You can then use our Uploader program and do multiple uploads. This method is very time consuming and even though you have the added benefit of being able to save the resized/converted photos, we still suggest you use one of the other options shown below if possible.

Other options:

 - If you used your own digital camera, you might be able to use downsizing or conversion software that comes with some digital cameras. You can downsize your photos to the under 400kb size range and/or convert them to the .jpg format, then use our multiple file Uploader.

 - If your photos were taken by a friend or you had them done by a wedding photographer, you might be able to get them to make copies which are under 400kb with the .jpg format then use our multiple file Uploader.
