I have before me a letter, a letter that speaks your heart. I do cherish that heart, and do so want to join it with mine.

All my life I have sought to find love. An all consuming love.A love for another that has no bounds. A love from another as strong as life itself. I thought I had found it several times...but it was not to be. I had lost sight of that quest in recent years, until now. I had forgotten the way in the night that was my life, until now. What I sought was beyond my grasp for I did not truly know what love was, until now.

I must quote a line from something you wrote that touched my heart. 'I am like a newborn...learning...being molded into the person,the friend, the soulmate, the lover you would have me be.' I have never heard finer words, until now, and I will do my all to keep them for you, and to love you well.

I am including a picture of the one true love of my life, my niece. Thru her eyes I have glimpsed what life truly means. I hold her so dear, as you know. The same love I give to her, unconditionally, without reservation, and for as long as I am, I offer to you. Take it to your soul. Our lives, each, begin here and now and our love, should we make it all it can be, can last for all tomorrows.

I wish you a Happy New Year. May it be the first in our lives. The past is no longer. Only the future sits with us now. Please take my hand in yours, for it represents all that I am...and it is yours.
